Our Profile National Voluntary Blood Centre (NVBC) & Apheresis centre Situated at Kolathur (Run by T.A.V Educational & Rural Development Trust) License No : 536/28C . One of the most modern blood bank in India with state-of-art technologies and service. It is licensed by the state and central government. All blood samples are screened for HIV, HBsAg , HCV, Malaria and VDRL . With its modern, sophisticated equipment, it follows stringent quality measures in blood donor selection, collection of blood, processing of blood, and blood group serology.

It is Quiet Well Known in the Blood Donors field that “National Voluntary Blood Centre” run by T.A.V Educational & Rural Development Trust. National Voluntary Blood Centre aims to meet the requirement of precious blood by organizing voluntary blood donation camps at Educational Institutes, Corporate sectors and Public gatherings. Voluntary blood donation is a selfless service and an expression of love for mankind.

The motto behind starting this wing by Maatram is to support the people in need and all the blood donors will have the privilege of “one donor one unit card” to avail free blood components through NVBC during emergency, By this we can eradicate the shortfall of blood.
